The Queen of the Trusses!Queen Post Trusses are very similar in design to king post trusses except that the interior of the truss has two vertical posts instead of one central post. They are a very beautiful design and offer an open area in the middle of the truss. Queen post timber trusses can easily span 30 feet or more when they are spaced about 12 feet apart.
Here is our Queen Post Bent in Douglas Fir. The Queen Post design for this gable end was the best choice due to the window layout.
